Hide external GIF/image URL so only GIF/image shows in chat

Hello!

I’ve seen in a competing chat client automatic hiding of URLs to external GIFs and images when these URLs are pasted to chat rooms, and I was wondering if Minnit could implement the same feature. It would make the chat look cleaner when users share GIFs and images beyond the built-in Tenor GIF tool.

Hi! I’m really excited for this!

I tried posting an external GIF to my chat room just now, but I still see the URL. Is there a new setting I need to enable to hide the URL?
