Some months ago we had an issue where out data usage went over limit about 10 days into the month. We resolved it with Jesse’s help but then I thought; what is the interest of keeping shared media (images, gifs, songs, etc) on the servers for more than 10-15 days?
Couldn’t we have a bot process flushing data, media, messages or whatever that is more than 10-15 days old?. That way, I guess it would be possible for a chat to exceed it’s monthly trafic limit, but it wouldn’t fill a huge chuck of server space ( bandwidth is cheap - server space it the expensive part of the equation)
What say you?
